Rear sub frame removed

Front sub frame and engine removed

Engine firewall will be sprayed like rest of the car

Same treatment with boot area....

Almost considered going with a new shell

But wanted to retain the soft top...

Engine plans call for a 1275cc, 90 bhp model to replace the 998

All work being done by DEAN'S MINIS of Soham in Cambridgeshire,

England.  Dean and his guys promise to freshen up our Mini like new with a few months of work and few British pounds...(how much I'm not telling and Dean....he just smiles).  Dean's is the same shop who painted the union jack on our boot lid, that piece gets a lot of attention at the Mini shows as I'm sure our Mini will get once the make over is complete.
