Restoration List and Pictures:
#1 T/A Deck Lid: This car sat outside for years, water must have collected in the deck lid and rusted it out at the seams. Need to find a T/A deck lid with spoiler cut outs.
#2 Radiator Support: Lower radiator support, lower front valance and front bumper: Appears the car took a hit low down front; must have gotten the grille as well a new R/T grille came with. No damage to the hood or upper radiator support.
#3 Rear Window Corners: Quarter panel deck lid tie in panel repairs: When the Gator top went to hell water must have gotten under the top and collected here rusting out both corners. I took pictures from the inside and its not a bad as it looks from top.
#4 Gator Grain Top: All photos I seen of this car the top is tore up, not sure how this happened; I was really glad to find the only rust was in the lower corners as pointed out in #3 above.
#5 Dash: Again all the time outside in the hard Canadian winters have took its tole on the dask, cracked in two places.
#6 Four Speed Pedal: Clutch pedal removal and carpets: Car was manufactured as an auto on the column but some "hack" converted her to a 4 speed only remaining evidence is the clutch pedal...and that's got to go.
#7 Body Restoration: Most part, body is solid with 80% or better original paint, but with any car 30+ years old, it has had a few body work touch ups.
#8 Other Stuff: Numerous little things will have to be sourced before contending for trophies, this will keep my Christmas list full of MOPAR stuff for the next few years: 1970 Jack set up (base plate, hook, spring and jack), space saver spare tire, T/A Stripe kit, front turn signal indicators (in valance) etc.
