New editions:

22 Feb 05:  This page has seen a lot of boasting about my hobbies, but let me take a few seconds to brag on Michele.  If you have never seen her cross stitch projects, your missing something.  Take a look at a few of these pictures, she does a great job, her works come out looking more like a photo more then needle work. Picture 1, Picture 2and Picture 3

14 Feb 05:  HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!   Well let us see what has happened since our last up date. I'm (Brian) back training for a Marathon.  If you remember I was running some big miles while on my remote tour, but 11 Sept 01 detoured me and the world just a bit.  Then I watched the women's Olympics and as Paula Radcliff (UK Runner) dropped out of the 26.2 mile race.  It hit me, very few people know the pain it takes to run over 20 miles...I had a slight feeling for what she must have felt and gone though.  It was at the moment I decide to do it all over again, and this time run in a 26.2 race.  To keep up with my training plan and races click here.

27 Dec 04:  Ho Ho Ho and again I'm behind on up-dating this web-page.  So much has happened since this summer where do I start.  Well how about the big things...#1 instead of sitting around the house we decided to go to Rome for Thanksgiving.  We had a blast seeing all sites...Michele rates this "the best vacation I've ever had" Anthony...said "Wow, those are some old rocks" and my famous quote..."My feet are killing me" ...and I have no clue what this says.  But we saw it all or nearly all.  #2  For Christmas, we packed up the family...this time including Jessica and went to London, and we ran into the most famous people.  Michele and Jessica got to Hunk it up while Michele and I got to see some big wigs in the world.  And one world mis-fit I would love to get my hands on!  #3 The Mini is done!  I'll be up-dating the Mini page soon, but in the mean time...she is SWEET!   Check her out!  And how did I forget, that Hanna turned 3 this year!  She is a wonderful dog and member of our family.  And last but not least...this was the summer for me that every red blooded American male dreams about, and it was better then two blondes, the Browns winning the Super Bowl or being Elvis....click here and see!

22 July 04:   Time sure flies when your having fun...so they say!  The family has been busy seeing the sites of the UK.  In Jun we made a stop to one of the top amusement parks in the Midlands "Alton Towers" built on the former grounds of the castle of the same name.  We got a nice family shot, aka as the the UGH family.   We had a blast riding all the coasters...  Have ya seen the show Fear Factor?  On the show people win money doing doing crazy things...well Anthony wanted to beat his dad out of 10 Bucks....I said sure, eat a worm...well he tried!   Brian also enlisted for what may be his last time... 6 more years. Michele and I went on a trip to Normandy to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, it was a very emotional experience.  We both walked away from this trip with a better understanding of just what an accomplishment our service members did on this world changing day.  D-Day pictures: Pic1, Pic2 and Pic3

1 April 04:  This ain't no joke....Cledawg's Home finally has a permit place and e-mail address.  With all of our moves Cledawg's Home has bounced from ISP to ISP and at last we have our own domain (cledawgshome.com) and e-mail address. Add our new site and e-mail address to your favorites list.  Our site will continue to keep family and friends up to date on: Brian, Michele, Jessica, Anthony and our doggie Hanna You will continue to find photos and details of our trips to London and throughout Europe; our puppy “Hanna Lizbeth;” Brian’s continuing Hard Rock Cafes  visits, our Mini, and newest addition Dodge Challenger T/A.  Michele earned her degree, put on SMSgt last year and will get back to adding some nice stuff to our home and her cross-stitch projects; Jessica's punk rock interests and last but not least Anthony’s latest sports and Scouts.  Check back often and watch your E-mail for coming additions to our page.

17 Jan 04:  The first 17 days of 2004 have flown right bye, is this a sign of things to come.  We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.  We sure did.  Today I got to stop by to check up on the Mini, her make over is progressing well... stage II. After reviewing many interesting paint jobs we decided to stick with Knight Fire Red, although this one came in a close second..  We also spent a cold gray Saturday exploring the Tower of London, a place where many a famous person lost their head.  pic 1 and pic2.  Its been two years that Hanna has been with us and out of all the Christmas gifts that were exchanged I think she made out the best and will get the most use out of hers toys.  Hanna 2 years old and with her boo.

24 De c2003: Merry Christmas, The Burk Family in the UK hopes you all have a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends. And we wish all of our family and friends in the United States and all over the world a wonderful holiday season, PLEASE, take a second and think about the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and US Airmen serving all over the world away from their families.  Before we got over run with holiday preparations the Burk family was able to do what the French gov't nor the Catholic church was unable to do in the mid ages, conquer 4 of King Henry the VIII castles, Leeds castle, Dover  Castle, Walmer castle and Deal Castle We had a wonderful time visiting the south England coast, stayed at a local B&B and shopped, walked and eat!  Also updated HRC page from my visit to the HRC in Pittsburgh, PA...number 29 for me!  Oh you ask if there are ghosts in these castles...well read this story on Yahoo.

23 Nov 03:  Time sure flies...the saying goes.  Every time I attempt to up-dated this page I'm either pulled away or so many things have changed that I do not know where to start...so here goes.  Work has taken me to a few new stops on the globe as well as a trip back to the good old USA.  My job for the SOG sure can be a pressure cooker but it also has taken me to some of the most interesting placesin the world.  But the big news is the Burk family made addition to its stable....one unique 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A, only 2400 T/As produced, only 11 in FT6, only one with spilt bench seat and Gator Gain top. One of One....and the only FT6 car know to be around. More to come but enjoy the following pictures until I get the T/A page built... picture 1, picture 2, picture 3,.  The trip to pick this car took me to Minnesota, then PA and finally back to England after doing some work for the Air Force.  BIG THANKS to Michele's Mom and Dad for all the help, and driving 1800 miles over two days with me.  Still trying to build the Germany vacation page but until then here are a few pictures of Michele and I enjoying our quality time together....we have been married 13 years and you would think we would finally be getting tired of one another, but let me say there is no one I would rather spend my time with.   We enjoyed a medieval dinner show in a old Manor home with a wall that dates back to Roman times...when in England do like the knights do.   Michele had the misfortune serving time in the rack and an ice cube down the back to correct her wrong ways.

7 Sept 03:  Trying to catch up with a web page that is already behind is like trying to stop time...the more things we do, the more pictures we take, the further behind I get.  Digging thru photos of Christmas 2002 I found this wonderful shot of Jessica and her boyfriend, as well as photo of Hanna trying to open one of her gifts and later playing with it.  Around the same time Michele put on SMSgt, putting her in the top 3% of the enlisted force of your "United States Air Force."  Group Hug....  In Aug we went to Mini in the Park, one of the biggest Mini car shows in the UK, we teamed up with the Base Mini car club, American Mini Enthusiasts, convoyed with 9 other Minis, camped out, and played road games while coming back home.  Hope the UK speed cameras did not catch this photo of us three wide on the highway ("Dual Carriage Way" to us UK folk).  We seen some really cool cars, the Brits get carried away in their displays, always entertaining.  Check out this car, it changes color as you move around it...Michele thinks she is going to win it.  I hope she does...another toy for me!

14 Aug 2003:  Boy time sure flies when your a web master and events of the world run you over...A lot to catch up on and only limited time to tell the story.  Where should I start?  How about Operation Iraqi Freedom, 84 days deployed forward and in places I never thought I would get to.  Good GOD how did I end up here?, but PROUD to serve.  Can you guess where here was?  If you really want to know drop me an e-mail.  Updated our Hard Rock page, 26 HRCs and counting, trips to Nottingham, Birmingham, Cologne, Munich and Berlin.  Updated the Mini page with a few photos of my old 1970 Challenger T/A

31 Jan 2003:  I hate to add this page to our web, but it is with great sadness that I must say Chelsie Rae, our little silver Miniature Schnauzer has pasted away.

05 Jan 2003:  Instead of just sitting around this New Years (falling asleep before midnight) Michele had the great idea of joining 100,000 other people at "Hogmanay" in Edinburgh, Scotland.  To say we had fun is an understatement...we had a blast.  Michele's Mom and Dad joined us as well as long time friend Heather...details of our trip to come as I edit the 60 plus photos we took, so in the mean time check out and enjoy the updated HRC page.

6 Dec 02:  It just dawned on us that Hanna Lizbeth has not been featured on our page in quiet some time...she is no longer a puppy.  We are all thankful for the love and warm puppy things she has added to our life.  We miss Chelsie very much but Hanna has brought many a smile to our hearts.  As well I need to add photos of our little Webelos Scout.  My golf game is moving right along, but most of my playing partners are or have moved (PCS'd)...So I've had to recruit a new player into my foursome...what ya think of our newest partner ;-)

5 Dec 02Ho Ho Ho it's almost Christmas.  Today's update includes photos of our trip to Warwick Castle with Anthony's 4th grade school class.  As well as Brian's latest golf adventure at Dunston Hall in Norwich.  One thing about taking up golf again while being stationed in the UK is the once in a lifetime chance to play some wonderful UK style course in the very land where the game of golf was born.  During this round our foursome played in front of a house that looked more like a castle with Brian opening the front 9 more like Tiger with a 2 over par 37...the excitement of such a spectacular round wore off quickly as he exploded with a 56 on the back 9 netting an "average" round 93.  But that's why we play the game.

14 Nov 02:  Sorry it has taken me so long to up-date our web page but things have been busy around the Burk homestead this summer.  Lets see where should I start?  Well we went to Warwick Castle with Anthony's school mates (photos still to come), Stonehenge and the Roman Bath , and oh by the way, we bought a house in the United Kingdom.  Michele made the big time when she got to meet and shake the hand of former President George H. Bush, the photo we got is right after she shoke his hand.  Myself, I have been busy around the house and working on my golf game, Yes I've taken up golf again, got to love the game.  Yes it has been a busy summer...oh throw in Michele's 6 week TDY for the SNCO Academy and Brian's IG inspection and you can see why the web page has fallen behind.  No worries I will get it updated.............................................................someday!       ; - )

24 April 02:  Photos of our second Mini Car Show held at an old English super speedway called Brooklands which was also the birth place of British aviation. Today there's a great little museum featuring race cars, aircraft and a Wellington bomber that crashed into Loch Ness.  To see the pictures and learn more about the Spirit of Brooklands click here. 14 April 02:  Photos of our trip to Paris, France.  Wow what a place to see and visit...  Also before and after photos of Brian's reconditioning of the Mini's boot area with Union Jack boot lid.

1 April 02:  Our first Mini Car Show in Stoneleigh.  Check out the pictures of some of the nicest of the nearly 300 Minis that were on Display.

23 Mar 02:  Big News is Michele made E-8 (Senior Master Sergeant) which is a big deal for us Military folks, that puts her in the top 3% of the enlisted rank structure in your United States Air Force.  I've also found time to update a few pages including a Mini page and two new guitar pins from my 20th Hard Rock Cafe visit (Amsterdam, NL).  And finally before and after haircut pictures of our Hanna Lizbeth, they say a good haircut makes a man, well it also gives a schnauzer her identity.... 27 Jan 02:  Happy New Year 2002.  Driving around the streets of the old UK is a bit of a challenge...the roads are very narrow, driving on the wrong side, roundabouts and all.  But when your passed at near light speed by this undersized golf cart, your first reaction is what the hey...followed closely by "I've got to have one."  WELCOME TO THE WORLD of MINIs.  We may have just went off the deep end. See pictures of our new (1971 mind you) Mini convertible with matching trailer...

29 Dec 01:  Photo pages about Brian's remote tour to Thule Air Base, Greenland.

01 Dec 01: Hanna Lizbeth was 8 weeks old and ready to come home. Our family made a road trip to the town of Boxford, UK picking up our little Hanna from the breeder, our Saturday was filled with joy and the smell of puppy breath.

25 Nov 01: Brian's Hard Rock Cafes page, complete with Pin Scans and thoughts from each of the HRC he and the family has visited. The Air Force keeps the family on the road which is great for visiting HRCs.

That's All Folks....
