best season statistically came in 1979 when he rushed for a

Jersey
of
#92, DE,
Courtney Brown |
| Courtney Brown drafted
#1 overall by the Browns out of Penn State in the 2000, he played for the Browns from
2000-2004. This jersey is tagged for the 2001 season and
manufactured in Berlin, WI by Reebok, with correct team labeling
inside the collar (01-48D).
Brown wore both
name on back (NOB) "Brown" and "C. Brown" during his career with the
Browns. In reviewing team history, years 2001-2003 he was the
only player with the name Brown on the active roster. In 2000 and
2004 there was another Brown on the team. So it would reason that
the 2001 jersey is correct with just the use of Brown…….my game
photo is from a 2003 (H) game (the second time the Browns played the
Cards during his career.) I have also seen a 2001 jersey with C.
Brown. From all indications the team would recycle jerseys
which would make it possible to have both C. Brown and Brown game
jerseys, but NFL uniform policy indicates that the NOB "Brown"
jersey would be correct.
During his
time with
the Browns he is credited with playing in 47 games. He is credited with
17 sacks and 156 tackles while scoring 1 touchdown. Often
injured he was traded to the Broncos in
2005.
