Presentation Balls AKA

"Game Balls"

  Ricky Feacher Game Ball

(Ball on the left)  Given to Wide Receiver Ricky Feacher on Nov 21 1982 for scoring the lone TD against the New England Patriots helping the Browns win 10-7 in Cleveland.

The play of the game was Sipe's touchdown pass to Feacher, It came on a second-and-13 play. Feacher streaked down the left sideline, hooked and came back. Sipe fired the ball as two defenders - closed in. "Ricky was double covered and we both read it," said Sipe. Once free of the two defenders, Feacher raced untouched the remaining 25 yards to the end zone.

  Bernie Kosar Game Ball

(Ball on the right)  Given to Quarterback Bernie Kosar on Nov 11 1991 for leading the Browns in a thrilling win over the Kansas City Chiefs, at the Stadium in front of 63,991 fans who braved wind-chill readings of 5 degrees, thanks to relentless gusts off the lake.

Note the ball was also autographed by Kosar.

Game Used Jersey of

#40, LB, Tarek Saleh

Worn during the 2000 season, Tarek was a Linebacker mostly used on special teams.  This game worn jersey is manufactured by Puma the supplier in 2000, with correct labeling in the collar (00-50).

This jersey was made in Berlin, WI which is where all the on field jersey's worn in the NFL are made.  The jersey shows some nice hit marks in the shoulder pad area and sleeves. The rubberized material used for the striping has some nice marks in it as well.  The collar is stretched out from the larger neck-guard as worn by Saleh..

Saleh played for the Browns from 1999 to the 2001 season and is credited with playing in 32 games.  He is credited with 9 kick returns for 89 yards, 1 fumble recovery and 1 reception for 22 yards.  Tarek changed his number in 2001 to 54 and was longer with the team in 2002.  He appears wearing (we believe) this jersey in the history of the Browns DVD at 2hrs and 2mins standing behind Al Lerner.

Game Used Jersey of

#30, RB, Boyce Green

This jersey worn by Boyce Green was made by Sand-knit and is a size 46. Above the sand-knit tag is a “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Cleveland Browns” tag. The jersey has double-ply shoulders and is complete with Name On Back (NOB) and 3 team repairs. All of the numbers are heat-pressed onto the jersey. The NOB has heat-pressed letters on a nameplate and the nameplate was then sewn onto the jersey.

This jersey was apparently re-issued by the Browns as evidenced of a slight outline of a previous nameplate and the Sand-knit tags. The current nameplate almost perfectly matches the material on the shoulder and along with the font of the NOB; there is no doubt that this was a team issue alteration. The vintage Sand-knit tags, which are from the 1970-73 era. Boyce Green did not play until the 1983-85 season.

Research found that three Browns running backs wore number 30.  Ken Brown played 6 seasons from 1970 - 1975 and appeared in 77 games.  Cleo Miller played 8 seasons from 1975 - 1982 appearing in 95 games while Boyce Green played 3 seasons from 1983 – 85 where he appeared in 42 games.   It is possible that all three may have worn this jersey at one time or another.

Practice Worn Jersey of

#10, QB, Kelley Holcomb

Acquired from another collector who purchased this jersey directly from the Browns team shop.  This 2003 "Do Not Touch" jersey was manufactured by Reebox and features screen printed NOB and all proper team issued markings.

Holcomb played for the Browns from 2001  until the 2004 season and is credited with playing in 15 games, starting 12, passing for over 3200 yards and 26 TDs.  He may best be know for a thrilling playoff game vs the Steelers in 2003.

Training Complex, Locker Room Chair of

#80, TE, Kellen Winslow Jr

Not game used, per say, but team issued.  This locker room chair came directly out of the team locker room of the training complex in Berea, Ohio.  Purchased from the team sale in 2006 and signed by #80, Tight End, Kellen Winslow Jr "K2."

Game Used Jersey of

#21, DB/WR, Mike Whitwell

This Sand-Knit jersey is an "one of a kind," worn for only one preseason game vs the Steelers on Aug 4th 1984.  The Browns changed up the color combos on their jerseys going with orange numbers with an white out line on the Brown jerseys.  The commentators calling this game complained that they could not make out the numbers at a distance so this combo was scraped only after one game.

This jersey features the Sand-Knit tags “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Cleveland Browns” and documentation by Mears Sports Collectables.

Mike Whitwell played for the Browns from 1982 thru the 1984 season and is credited with playing in 25 games, starting 16 with 1 sack and 3 interceptions for 68 yards.
